“So…what exactly is Easter?” asked Shah. My ears pricked up, my drowsy haze suddenly wisped away. I pray a quick prayer that my Rohingya language would be coherent enough to actually explain what it was that Jesus did for us on Easter and its significance.
I have lived amongst the Rohingya for over three years, and I remain astounded at the opportunities that our Father makes available with them, without any prompting necessary on my part. I’ve noticed how time and time again, He faithfully opens doors to these conversations to spread the message of what Jesus has done for each of us.
Please pray that the Father would continue to open the hearts, minds, doors, conversations, and souls to know Jesus, and continue to bring opportunities to scatter many seeds of truth.
Please pray for Shah, that He would not hear about Jesus’ work and merely think of it as a story, but that the Spirit would reveal to Him the truth that these stories hold.
